OK, so this will be a little hard to explain for some of you and the change I am talking about requires a manager to do it. That said, this will speed up the entry of customers for 90% of you:
In DealerCRM when you go to add a customer we always assumed there was a potential that a drivers license scanner was being used on the machine. Each and every time you probably saw a little window pop-up to enable that scanner (that 90% of the time didn't exist).
If you want to speed up that page where you enter a new customer we've added a setting in the Dealership Settings area of the Control Panel (as I said it takes a managers permission to see this). Simply disable the Drivers License scanner and the machine you are using will no longer load that extra window and your system will speed up dramatically.
This setting is specific to the machine, not your user account and any user will have the same setting. It's important to note that this setting is specific to the Internet browser you are using: If you use Firefox, Chrome and IE on the same machine you will have to enable/disable it for each browser.
